Preparing today’s students for tomorrow’s world is challenging educators to innovate the way students learn and the ways that learning can be supported.
Join Verity Firth, Executive Director of the Centre for Social Justice and Inclusion at UTS and former NSW Minister for Education and Training, as she facilitates a conversation to begin to explore approaches to curriculum, learning design, technology and teacher development that respond to this challenge in ways that ensure the inclusion of all students.
Be inspired and gain practical insights into learning futures from world renowned educator Thom Markham founder of Project Based Learning Global.
Thom is a psychologist, educator, author, speaker, and internationally respected consultant to schools. His approach emphasises 21st century skills, innovation, and high performance cultures and brings a unique strengths based approach to PBL to nurture individual talents and skills. Thom will set a context and jumping off point for the conversation with a panel of local education leaders with a Q&A to follow.
