Plastic Waste: quitting our addiction

Plastic waste is more than a litter problem. Micro plastic particles are now found in oceans, rivers and soil around the world. They are entering the food chain and we are literally eating the stuff. The planet is drowning in plastic. Yet everyday we get bombarded with ‘disposable’ single-use plastic items like cutlery, straws, bottles and bags. It has to change.

Come to this hands-on workshop to hear from experts, and help develop ideas on how we can reduce plastic waste at UTS.

Lunch will be provided.

Please RSVP for catering purposes. Please e-mail your RSVP Seb Crawford on seb.crawford@uts.edu.au
