Launch of the UTS Social Impact Measurement Toolbox
23 October @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pmFree
With competition for funding increasing, Not-for-Profits are being asked to prove the impact of their work. The lack of a standardised approach to evaluating social impact; and with many NFPs under-resourced and understaffed; it is proving difficult.
A partnership between the University of Technology Sydney and Community Sector Banking aims to change that!
Join us for a demonstration of the Social Impact Measurement Toolbox, developed together in co-creation with the sector for the sector, hear from leading researchers, thinkers and practitioners within the sector, including: Dr Cassandra Goldie, CEO of the Australian Council of Social Service (ACOSS), Professor Chris Earley, Dean, UTS Business School, Andrew Cairns, CEO of Community Sector Banking and Executive from Department of Communities and Justice NSW.
The Sydney Street Choir will perform on the evening and, they will also take you through their journey towards measuring their social impact, a case-study supported by Payce Foundation.
The Social Impact Measurement Toolbox provides a collection of key resources including online courses with video, forums, questionnaires, interactive templates and a repository of reliable, verifiable and validated measures, all collated in an open digital platform. Following almost two years of collecting key resources the Social Impact Toolbox team are ready to hand over the toolbox to allow organisations to evaluate effectively, using validated measures and all for free!
